What happened to SaGia? Some updates.

Hi, this is the author and creator of the indie comic, SaGia. Unexpected update. No, nothing bad happened to me, don't worry.

Since the last chapter, 15, was uploaded to GlobalComix on February 1st, I haven't worked on the next chapter, 16, for 2 months, almost going on three months. There are reasons for this:

I am taking a hiatus from social media. Social media hasn't been working out for me and its been treating me like garbage. My last post, not counting my post mentioning me going on hiatus, which was me promoting my appearance on a podcast only got 2 likes on Instagram. It made me think that no one is viewing my stuff anymore.

Speaking of social media, I found myself comparing to others - in terms of likes and interactions.
Also, social media is a cruel place. I haven't dealt with any rude people recently, but have dealt with some in the past that I blocked them.

Lack of motivation. I also have nights where I have trouble sleeping and I usually find myself sleeping at 3am.
Trying to promote my merch and other stuff online was horrible, as I get no sales. Even after pushing out my animation that I put so much effort into, I got nothing. No sales out of it. I've been looking into in-person events, but none interested me.
Going on the podcasts may have gotten me a bit of a boost, but... I feel as if I don't want to appear on more podcasts/interviews anymore. My most recent podcast appearance, they were sharing clips from 4/4-4/7, but the titles and descriptions were sometimes not accurate and misspelled my name, the name of my comic, or some of the character name's wrong. I remember when I left a comment correcting the names on the first clip they shared (I still thanked them for having me on), it was ignored. One of the clips mentioned my comic being "viral" when really, it's not even that big. I think AI was used to generate the title and descriptions.

So, when will SaGia return? It's currently unknown at the moment. Please stay tuned for updates. You can also scroll down on the homepage of this website for Volume 3 updates. I do have plans for the 2nd anniversary of my comic, which will happen August 5th this year.

This is the next longest chapter, beating chapters 12 and 14, with a total of 44 pages! In this chapter, Lass, Rena, and Fangnoon help a woman named Agani find a pretty necklace.
