What are these mysterious, handheld tiny devices?
It is unknown who created these devices and it's unknown what year these devices appeared, but the only thing that is known is that they appear in the soul of a Sagian. However, some Sagians lack a Relic Device.
When a Sagian is born and gains enough powers, this device appears in front of them. The Relic Device helps transform the Sagian into a stronger version of themselves. It mostly requires the bond of a human partner, but sometimes, the Sagian can power-up by themselves. With enough power and strength, it is possible for a Sagian to reach to their Ultimate Limit after reaching their Good side. The Sagian can't go to their Ultimate Limit form if they are in their Evil side.
To go into the Good Side form, a Sagian must have a true fighting spirit or have enough trust in their partner. To go into the Evil Side form, a Sagian must have negative thoughts, feel neglect, feel more angry, or ignore their partner (disobedience).

If the Sagian has no Good side, then they skip straight to their UL form if they have one.
Rarely, the Sagian can power-up without the need of a Relic Device.
A human partner or Sagian (by themselves) can call on their Sagian friends using this device. How do they do it? When they become true friends with the Sagian, they touch the device and they are added to the call list. If the human partner is in danger, they can call a Sagian and they come through a portal. However, if they are busy, they call and let them know that they can't arrive to the battle on time. Some Sagians call through their own device or through their Sagian Symbol. If the Sagian friend breaks up with the human partner or Sagian or if the Sagian dies, they are removed from the call list.
When the Sagian is in their Relic Form and their partner has the device in their hands, they can communicate to the Sagian through a LCD screen with the Sagian on it.
Trivia:
- The Relic Device are inspired by the Sonic/SEGA McDonald's LCD handhelds that you could get in Happy Meals back in the day. The calling portion of the Relic Device is inspired by the video game, Keitai Denjū Telefang (famously recognized as being a bootleg called Pokémon Diamond (not the DS game) and Jade).
- Unlike real-life LCD handheld games where the animation is limited (ex. Tiger handhelds), the Relic Device breaks those rules and the Sagian in their LCD form can move around freely.
