- Asai being #52 in the Sagianpedia, while Jikiru and Haido are #25, and are enemies to each other in the comic is based on Pikachu and Meowth's rivalry in the Pokémon anime; Pikachu is #25 in the dex while Meowth is #52.

Asai's design (both regular and powered-up) is mainly inspired by Mai of the Dragon Ball franchise, mainly DBS Mai as a kid. Her design originally looked similar to hers before being adjusted over the years.
Asai's Ultimate Limit form is mainly inspired by secret agents and characters like Carmen Sandiego.
